No, we were never pepper farmers. Our taste buds aren’t any hardier than normal, and there is no “Mr. Pepper” (though that’s an intriguing idea for a large costumed mascot).
Our name came out of scads of brainstorming sessions, wastebaskets full of rejected monikers and near-political campaigns for favorites.
Pepper Group made the final cut because it represents what we do. We add spice to our clients’ communications, through a concerted group effort. And, of course, the results our work produces are always muy caliente.
In 1994, Tim Padgett set out to create a new marketing services company. One that would provide clients with the utmost quality and value, and one that would provide employees with a great place to work, learn and grow.
Starting as a one-man operation, the company quickly added clients and brought in top design talent. Web soon followed. Acquiring a multimedia company in 1998, Pepper Group added video and animation capabilities.
In 2002, the Pepper Group matured from a graphic design firm into to a full-service marketing provider, delivering strategic marketing consulting, planning, and the full capabilities to implement every tactic and activity.
