Have you heard of Windows 7? No doubt you’ve heard of its predecessor, Vista—probably within a negative context. With Windows 7, however, Microsoft has gotten it right. Not only is the software dependable, but the deployment plan is sound. Sogeti is one of only seven companies in the world authorized to provide large companies with a Microsoft-sponsored analysis to help ensure a smooth deployment. To make the most of this opportunity, Sogeti brought in Pepper Group to create a high-impact ad campaign to reach corporate CIOs.
Many CIOs never made the transition from XP to Vista, but they will be upgrading to Windows 7. And though the software is clearly superior, it’s no secret that they’re still more than a little nervous about it. The campaign plays off that apprehension in a fun way and presents various “phobias” that represent a fear of Windows 7 deployment. The ads then show how Sogeti can help. We even created Sogeti t-shirts with the various phobias that have become a huge hit!
Sogeti has not only benefitted from some incredible leads resulting from the ad itself but has enjoyed magnified impact, as people are talking about the campaign on blogs, social media and in-person. And though the campaign has only been running in the US, thanks to the word-of-mouth, leads have come in from all over the world.
