A private equity firm had acquired a manufacturing facility from a large, global enterprise with an established portfolio of products. In February of 2021, they completed an exhaustive agency search to find a partner that could accomplish a nearly impossible task. They needed to stand up a new entity despite having no name nor marketing staff, and they wanted to launch within four months.

The Solution
Pepper Group went all-in. Backed by comprehensive research and interviews with industry experts, we first developed the name “Kensing,” inspired by the site’s founding location on Kensington Avenue. We then built on that name, inside and out, while simultaneously developing a detailed new messaging platform, go-to-market strategy and service-offering reorganization.
Over the next few months, we crafted the graphic identity. That included giving their location a facelift, from painting the building exterior to lining the halls with new signage, and launching a website along with an in-depth customer portal. These helped establish the company’s culture and foundation.
The launch was a great success. We continued building out their brand, creating sales materials, developing a trade show booth and materials, writing press releases and more.
We created materials to support three global acquisitions.
We supported 15 trade shows in three years, including a large video screen back wall.
Among the vast array of services, we established their social and digital presence. We backed our digital advertising and social media efforts with detailed analytics, SEO and lead-generation campaigns with supporting data.
Today, Kensing is the largest global manufacturer of plant-based vitamin E and phytosterols. With our assistance, they continue to grow, including new global acquisitions and added products.
