Gerber Collision & Glass has been around for 75 years but it was crunch time (pun intended) for their website recruiting efforts. Gerber, a division of The Boyd Group, was looking to fill more than 300 jobs during the next 12-months, and 200-jobs a year, on-going. So, we went to work—on a new recruitment campaign. Our research found that experienced auto techs weren’t just looking for jobs and higher wages, but also respect, commitment and career advancement opportunities. We rolled out a microsite, video, digital ads, a brochure and more that reflected these insights, all wrapped around the campaign theme Our People Drive Us. As a result, Gerber Collision & Glass has expanded the quantity and quality of their team. In other words, we did an exceptional job of filling Gerber’s jobs.
