RedMane is a software solutions and systems integration firm that helps human services, healthcare and commercial organizations address their most complex challenges.

When the Southern First Nations (SFN) Network of Care in Manitoba needed a mobile case management solution to support its innovative “Restoring the Sacred Bonds” prevention program for child welfare, they reached out to RedMane for help.

The SFN sought state-of-the-art capabilities that could track prenatal and postnatal support to at-risk mothers and children. The solution needed to work everywhere, even outside of internet and cell coverage. To meet the goal, RedMane helped SFN successfully implement RedMane’s mCase—a modern and mobile case management system—to improve the delivery of services to children, mothers and families.

In order to share this story in a powerful way, Pepper Group created a new video. After interviews with the team at RedMane who were directly involved in the project, we recommended a concept that used interviews with program participants, birth helpers and RedMane employees. We knew that hearing first-hand from those close to the Initiative would best demonstrate how the software is making a difference.

To minimize costs, we developed a detailed document with recommended b-roll shots and a list of interview questions for RedMane staff to shoot onsite with the SFN. Once all of the footage was captured, we edited and produced the final video.

The resulting video focuses on one mother and her baby and how the Initiative changed her life. By leading with her story, we brought the attention from the technology to showing how RedMane uses technology to improve both businesses, and lives.
