Chocolate? Mint? Moose Tracks? At Pepper Group, we like to get to know our clients and each other as people. As friends. That’s the origin of our Sharing Scroll. It’s a simple roll of paper on our wall where we ask questions—some goofy and some not—and invite clients and guests and employees to answer. This unique Pepper Group tradition is a way to break the ice and learn something far more interesting than you might find on a business card or ask during a standard handshake greeting.

Recently we asked on the middle scroll: what’s your favorite ice cream flavor?

The winner…was a tie between mint chocolate chip and chocolate.

“Chocolate” is no surprise. Most people pick “chocolate” as their favorite flavor (per a recent Newsweek poll). Mint chocolate chip is only a mild upset winner here, as it is the #3 favorite flavor in the USA (vanilla is #2). By the way, vanilla is the #1 best-selling ice cream in the USA.

Interestingly, no other flavor in our small survey got more than one vote. Those flavors included vanilla, pistachio, coffee, cookies ‘n cream, turtle, sea salt caramel, moose tracks and cookie dough.
