I’ve been thinking a lot about the positives and negatives of technology lately. Spoiler Alert—I’m still in favor of it but hope we can manage it. It’s kind of like nature—we have a hand in it, but it’s bigger than all of us, so we have to recognize and respect its power.

Have you seen The Social Dilemma on Netflix? I feel it should be required watching to get your ISL (Internet Surfer’s License). It’s an eye-opener and helps to explain the manipulation we’ve seen in commerce and politics.

Sometimes we take for granted that we can access so much information from the Internet. But what about people with disabilities? Those who can’t see or hear? We have just become a partner with accessiBe, who has perfected this service. With a relatively inexpensive annual subscription ($490/year), you can place a line of code on your site that enables people with a range of disabilities to browse through your website. While this might appear to be a kindhearted addition, consider that websites are now covered under ADA guidelines and you can be sued (averaging $10,000-$40,000 in fines) if yours isn’t accessible. Let me know if you’d like to get set up.
